“In all my 44 years I have never been so impressed with a crew until I met Robert Hartwell (Field Manager) and his team. Let me tell you, you have a crew full of men and I have a store full of women employees. In my experience this has always brought challenges so we were prepared to deal with them, and to be honest with you, we expected some. Boy have we been surprised with North American Roofing. Robert is so professional; he communicates with everyone with such a high level of respect, it has amazed us. We have not even heard a cuss word from anyone. These men have worked their behinds off, and after a long day they are still smiling, tipping their hats with a hello to us and even clean themselves up before coming in to let us know their work day is done. I know these guys are away from home for long periods of time and that has to wear on them from time to time but you would never know it. I decided to take myself up on the roof the other day. I was curious to see how things were lookin’, a surprise visit, and guess what I saw? Robert Hartwell working right alongside his guys; no wonder they respond to him so well and work so hard for your company, Robert leads by example, hard to find these days. I had to ask Robert how old he was, he looks so young to be this polished on the job, I found out he is the same age as my son, I told Robert that I can only hope my son is out there working to the same standards. Our Regional Manager Laura Carrey visited our store recently and she made it a point to ask me who she should call to talk about how impressed she was with my roofing crew, she was impressed all on her own, we didn’t even talk about the roof project when she asked. Robert Hartwell made it a point to introduce himself to her and talked with her about the project on his own; speaks volumes. I gave Laura your number, you will be hearing from her too. Listen, I could go on and on about Robert and his crew. Please promise that you are going to let your company know all this, we just can’t thank you enough, it has been such a pleasure working with this group, we are going to be sorry to see them go when it’s all done, a real fine group of men!”
