Columbia Airport Traffic Control Tower – Columbia, SC
“Gentlemen,
We recently completed a project at Columbia SC which involved updating the airport Air Traffic Control Tower and installing a new roof with North American Roofing on the ATCT base building for the FAA. Working with the FAA can be very challenging due to government specifications and requirements. My normal position on these projects puts me in a position between the FAA and the contractors which can be very stressful. Most contractors have problems adapting to the FAA’s installation requirements that have a tendency to be more stringent than non-government installations. It is because of these conditions I am writing this email.
William Powell helped tremendously with this project! He made my job much easier than usual. He was always willing to help and never questioned the reasons for the requirements of the FAA. He was very professional around my customers and never hesitated supplying requested information. He personally inspected every aspect of the roofing project and corrected items as the job proceeded and easily worked through problems. Because of his understanding, great attitude, and roofing knowledge the project went very well and the FAA was very pleased with the end result.
I very much enjoyed working with William and wanted to make you aware of his contribution to this project. Thank you.”
